Hello Sugar Babies!
Thank you for visiting my blog! I am glad that you find me interesting enough to visit this site. I am a new foodie! I have not always been interested in cooking for fun until recently. And you will never guess what motivated me to move into this direction. That's right...boredom. Absolute boredom! It started off by me making holiday cookies and taking them to work, just because. Then my curiosity peaked to make cakes, homemade biscuits, rolls, pastries, trying new main dishes, and the list goes on.
I never knew how invigorating cooking and baking could be. I don't really know what it is about it, but it is a great way for me to release stress and allow my mind to simply evaporate.
A common question that I get from my friends is, "Do you eat all of what you bake and cook?" The answer is, no. I don't waste the food either. I voluntarily give them to my co-workers, friends, and family. In fact, I don't really eat a lot of what I bake, but the main dishes that I cook, more than likely, I eat them. Simply because I make them for myself, whereas, baking comes from boredom or pleasing others.
I will say that I have seen some baking blogs that are awesome! And I do not pretend to be as good as those gals and guys that have been doing this for you. But my blog will be different because I will share my mistakes and you get to watch me grow in this new found love of my life. Also, I have a separate blog, "Tickle My Fancy", and it allows you to get to know me a little bit more personally. Also, as I am learning about this "foodie" business I will be blogging about my mistakes and accidents as I am learning. Any who, thanks for following and I hope that my recipes becomes the "gift that keeps on giving".
